Morguard Fights For A Cure

  |     |   Uncategorized

Service is one of the core values of Morguard, and an important part of that is raising contributions for organizations that are doing important work to improve life for others. That is why we have partnered for the last several years with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). The mission of the LLS is a complex and important one. It is to “Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.”

The final figures have come in, and we are happy to report that in 2018 Morguard US was able to raise $38,000 to help aid in this mission! We are proud of our teams nationwide who have put in so much work to make this possible. There were several events and opportunities for fundraising throughout the year, from our Light the Night Walks to a golf tournament in South Florida to individual donations. The West Palm Beach group led the way with $755 raised, which was then matched by Morguard Management Company.

Last year set an impressive target for Morguard to beat. In 2019, we hope to push that number up to $50,000! With the new year comes a new challenge, and we are ready to meet, and hopefully exceed, this goal. There will be more Light the Night events, a golf tournament in Coral Springs, FL, and more opportunities for contribution as we seek to help LLS in their crucial mission for a cure. If you are interested in contributing to Morguard’s LLS efforts this year, please email [email protected] for more information.

Morguard is excited to have opportunities to serve our community and contribute to a compelling cause like the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. We are always on the lookout for like-minded individuals who also want to make a difference. If you would like to work with a team that is committed to making important contributions to our communities, please consider Morguard for your new role. We are always open to talented people who love their work and strive to make a positive impact in the lives of others in need.
