The mission of the LLS is a complex and important one. It is to &ldquo;Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin&#39;s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.&rdquo;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:.0001pt\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:.0001pt\"><span style=\"background:white\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span style=\"border:none windowtext 1.0pt; font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,sans-serif; padding:0in\"><span style=\"color:#333333\">The final figures have come in, and we are happy to report that in 2018 Morguard US was able to raise $38,000 to help aid in this mission! We are proud of our teams nationwide who have put in so much work to make this possible. There were several events and opportunities for fundraising throughout the year, from our <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color:black\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lightthenight.org\/\"><span style=\"border:none windowtext 1.0pt; font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,sans-serif; padding:0in\"><span style=\"color:black\">Light the Night<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"border:none windowtext 1.0pt; font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,sans-serif; padding:0in\"><span style=\"color:#333333\"> Walks to a <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color:black\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.morguardapartments.com\/blog\/Pages\/Swinging-to-Make-a-Difference.aspx\"><span style=\"border:none windowtext 1.0pt; font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,sans-serif; padding:0in\"><span style=\"color:black\">golf tournament<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"border:none windowtext 1.0pt; font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,sans-serif; padding:0in\"><span style=\"color:#333333\"> in South Florida to individual donations. The West Palm Beach group led the way with $755 raised, which was then matched by Morguard Management Company. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:.0001pt\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:.0001pt\"><span style=\"background:white\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span style=\"border:none windowtext 1.0pt; font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,sans-serif; padding:0in\"><span style=\"color:#333333\">Last year set an impressive target for Morguard to beat. In 2019, we hope to push that number up to $50,000! With the new year comes a new challenge, and we are ready to meet, and hopefully exceed, this goal. There will be more Light the Night events, a golf tournament in Coral Springs, FL, and more opportunities for contribution as we seek to help LLS in their crucial mission for a cure.
